2011 State Convention - July 27, 2011 - 6:30 pm

The Washington Old Time Fiddlers Association held the 2011 annual State Convention during the middle of the summer workshop this year, as we did last year, to try to include more of the folks who leave the workshop on Friday afternoon. The Convention was preceded by the Summer Board Meeting at 4 pm, also in Kittitas.

Please Note: The dates for the Kittitas Workshop 2011 were July 25-29th. This is a week earlier than usual and will be the week the workshop and convention occur in the future.

Attendees of the workshop joined representatives of WOTFA's 16 districts to conduct the business of the organization.

At the convention, WOTFA typically holds elections, makes bylaws changes, presents the annual treasurer's report, and provides a swell way to find out what each district is doing to keep old time music alive. We hope you will attend.
